Alba have bright citrus and white flowers that meet a distinctly buttery nose, with subtle oak spice and toasted nuances from ageing in a 228L barrel. Two years on lees bring a smooth, layered texture and impressive length, while natural full malolactic fermentation adds depth and roundness. Precise yet generous, Alba combines chalk-driven minerality with a complex, lingering finish.
This Coteaux Champenois blanc comes from the Grand Cru single parcel “Les Avats” in Avize (Vintage 2024).
