Aurora

Coteaux Champenois 2024

Our rosé marks a new chapter for Agrapart Avize — the very first of its kind, inspired by the rosé wines of Provence with their freshness, lightness, and summery spirit. This still rosé from our region takes its name from the French expression for the northern lights, Aurore boréale, a reference to its intense and luminous colour. The name also recalls a legend from the town of Aurora, Texas, where a UFO is said to have crashed and an alien was buried. In French, UFO is translated as OVNI (Objet Volant Non Identifié). Our Aurora, crafted with a unique vinification method that we call the “Agrapart Avize Method,” is in its own way also an OVNI — an Objet Vinifié Non Identifié.

Notes

Notes

Inspired by the freshness and lightness of Provence rosé, it shows bright red berry aromas of wild strawberry, redcurrant, and raspberry, lifted by delicate floral notes. Aged from harvest in a Wine Globe and on its lees for two years, it gains a refined, silky texture and impressive length, while natural complete malolactic fermentation adds roundness. Precise and vibrant, Aurora balances purity and mineral freshness with a luminous, elegant fruit-driven finish.
